After a winter of seclusion, we're off to the Czech Republic for the Month, and then to Berlin, to attend the book launch/art show LE MONDE DIPLOMATIQUE - IN 50 COMICS UM DIE WELT

We’ve spent another  winter in the woods of  Saltspring Island BC to work on art and animation inspired by nature, and it was fantastic.

Here’s an update of our activities, recent past and near future.

- June 2010 - Le Monde diplomatique (Berlin)  will be presenting a group show of the magazine’s published comic pages at gallerie NEUROTITAN, Berlin. The collected work will be published as a book by REPRODUKT. We’re very honored to have our June 2009 page included in this exciting book and show.
- Jan  2010 edition of Czech Komiks magazine AARGH! Will feature a cover by Marek, as well as a new  4-page comic.
- Nov 2009 - Now playing on MuchMoreMusic, Canada, the music video we co-directed with Samantha Fergusson Daniel for Howie Beck’s  “Don’t Put Your Arms Around No More”.
- Nov 2009 - Our image “Kraina Mriy” is covering walls and bars across Europe and Canada to herald accordian punk singer extraordinaire Geoff Berner’s “Drunk and Dancing" European Tour. We highly recommended you catch one of his shows!
- August 2009 - Change - An International Art Project, group show, organized and curated by Nekojuice (Berlin) and Perennial Art (Edinbourough), 7th of August to the 5th of September 2009, for the Edinburgh Art Festival, United Kingdom.  Our pieces for the show - Autopust, Farewell to Cars and Nabozhnik.
- August 20, 2009 - Marek is a Daytime Emmy Nominee in the New Approaches/Daytime Children’s category, for his art direction and design of ARTOPIA, a new animated show about art for children produced by PBS WNET Thirteen, New York.
